There are various methods for dealing with heat in panel. This article explains the problems that tend to occur with conventional heat countermeasures.
Conventional heat countermeasure methods and their problems
Panel Fans

The effectiveness of this method is greatly affected by ambient environment, and if the outside air temperature is high, it will not be very effective. Also, because panel fan draws outside air into panel, dust and oil mist can get in and cause problems.
(point)
- A cool environment with low ambient temperature is required
・The temperature after heat dissipation should be approximately 10°C above the ambient temperature.
・There is a risk of dust and oil mist entering the panel.

Heat Exchanger
Unlike panel fans, they can dissipate heat while keeping panel panel, but because they use the temperature difference between the inside and outside of panel to dissipate heat, they cannot be expected to be very effective when the outside air temperature is high. Please note that capacity may decrease in the summer.
(point)
・In addition to heat dissipation, it also has dust prevention effects.
- A cool environment with low ambient temperature is required
- No dehumidifying effect

Spot Cooler
Although spot cooler are used as an emergency measure, they are originally designed for rapid cooling by workers, so there is a possibility of condensation when cooling electronic equipment. Also, because panel is open, they cannot prevent dust or oil mist.
(point)
- There is a risk of condensation due to rapid cooling
・There is a risk that outside air will enter and contaminate the inside of the panel.

Air Conditioning Duct Branch
Due to the distance from the air conditioner and the heat generated inside panel it is difficult to control the temperature of each panel individually, resulting in a cooling method with very large variations. In addition, because branching work for the cooling ducts takes time, this method is not suitable for emergency heat countermeasures in the summer.
(point)
・Cooling effect varies
Installation work is time-consuming and expensive

Recommended heat countermeasures
Enclosure cooling units
Enclosure Cooling Unit can maintain a constant temperature set inside the panel, just like a household air conditioner. Because the panel is sealed, it also prevents outside air containing dust and oil mist from entering the pan.
Additionally, during the cooling process, it provides a dehumidifying effect, allowing you to handle cooling, dust prevention, and dehumidification with just one unit.
(point)
・Maintains a constant temperature inside panel at the set temperature
・Panel is sealed to prevent the intrusion of dust and oil mist
・Not only cooling but also dehumidifying effect

Use a Enclosure cooling unit to make the internal board environment the best condition it can be!
Enclosure Cooling Unit protect electronic equipment inside panel from heat, dust, and moisture, contributing to the stable operation of the production line.
・Cooling the inside of panel to a constant temperature
・Prevents oil mist and dust from entering panel
・Dehumidifying the inside of panel
