Conventional Enclosure Cooling Unit typically use "fluorocarbons" or "alternative fluorocarbons" as refrigerant, but Apiste has developed the industry's first Enclosure Cooling Unit using "HFC alternative."
refrigerant R1234yf used in Apiste 's HFC alternative Enclosure Cooling Unit ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global global warming potential (GWP) of less than 1, making it an environment friendly refrigerant. Furthermore, it is exempt from the Fluorocarbon Emission Control Law, eliminating the need for periodic full inspections, record keeping, and obligations regarding the recovery and destruction of CFCs.

Energy-saving type

Energy-saving (inverter-equipped) type

Unlike conventional Enclosure Cooling Unit which use ON/OFF control, Apiste 's energy-saving Enclosure Cooling Unit inverter control so they do not operate at full capacity until the load reaches 100%, thus reducing running costs.
Furthermore, because there are fewer temperature fluctuations when cooling is stopped, similar to ON/OFF control, stress on electronic devices is reduced.

If compressor continues to operate in cooling mode for 30 minutes, it will switch to fan mode for 5 minutes. (The initial setting is for compressor to operate continuously until the temperature inside the panel drops.)

Cooling fan eco operation

The cooling fan will also turn on/off in sync with compressor 's ON/OFF operation.
(The initial setting is for the cooling fan to run continuously regardless of compressor operation.)

Filter-less

Conventional Enclosure Cooling Unit use fin and tube type condensers for heat dissipation, so if they become clogging with dust or other debris, their cooling capacity will decrease significantly, making regular maintenance of filter and fins essential.
Apiste 's ENC-GR-Pro series is the industry's only finless type, meaning there are no parts that can clogging, eliminating the need for filter and allowing it to maintain cooling capacity for extended periods.

There is no need filter replacement, which was previously necessary, contributing to reduced maintenance costs and man-hours.

The drain water is held in a special evaporation filter that is non-flammable, highly absorbent, and breathable, and the drain water is evaporated using only the exhaust heat from cooler without consuming any extra electricity.
Recommended for use on mezzanine floors where drainage is difficult (non-drain conditions: 35°C/85%).

Outdoor specification

To ensure high durability, the unit is designed environment outdoor installation or use in wet and humid environment such as food factories, with an all-stainless steel body, a condenser finished with cathodic electrocoating, and refrigerant piping finished with modified epoxy resin coating.

This type is installed on the ceiling of panel. The ceiling type has a double drain pan structure to prevent water from leaking into panel.
