Highest level of temperature and humidity control accuracy in its class

You can carry out control of the cleanliness level, temperature and humidity more precisely which are required in a variety of manufacturing, inspection and testing processes.

Temperature control

As only a limited space is air-conditioned, energy savings and highly precise temperature control are possible.

Humidity control

Humidification, dehumidification can be carried out to maintain a constant humidity. A low humidity environment or a high humidity environment can be created where required.

Newly developed temperature and humidity sensors

Equipped with a newly developed compact temperature sensor with a high directivity. Temperature resolution has been improved by using a 14-bit A/D converter. Temperature data can be transmitted digitally in a stable manner using a LAN cable as this increase the strength against external noise too.

Eco-hot gas + double heater-less control technology

Focusing on humidification technology, Apiste developed a new technology that differentiates it from conventional heater systems.
Based on a completely new concept of combining the cooling, heating and humidification processes within the same refrigeration cycle, an astonishing humidity accuracy of ±0.5% was achieved in addition to a maximum energy saving of 80%.

A variety of functions to achieve high precision

Newly developed ISC

A high stability and reliable controllability are achieved

A basic PID control program for generic temperature control was developed as a proprietary program called "ISC" (Intelligent Sensing Control) that specializes in precision air conditioning. A large amount of accumulated data is used in the development of the control algorithm. The overshoot pattern of conventional PID control has been improved dramatically. An unprecedented level of stability and controllability has been realized.

Newly developed high-speed auto tuning

Operational processing speed of at least 10 times the conventional speed

Several hundred steps of operations are processed all at once by using a dual processor consisting of a high speed CPU and a CPU with a built-in 32-bit DSP. A dramatic shortening of the auto tuning time has been realized. Even if sample data does not stabilize due to interference, the most optimal PID value is determined quickly from the observed waveform.

An air-cooling type or water-cooling type cooling method can be selected according to the purpose, application and installation environment

Air-cooling type

This method transfers heat during the refrigeration cycle by cooling using air intake.
Waste heat is discharged by the fan motor installed next to the heat dissipation coil.
Installation can be carried out relatively easily since cooling water pipes for heat transfer are not required.
(*Piping for humidification are required for models equipped with a humidifier.)

Water-cooling type

Heat is transferred by cooling water in the refrigeration cycle in these models.
Compared to cooling by outside air, the heat transfer coefficient and stability are higher, so these models can be used for low air flow (1 m3/min) to high air flow (120m3/min).
Since there is no waste heat discharged by the fan motor, dust generation is not a concern.
They are most suitable for environments which require a higher level of cleanliness.

A variety of ventilation and installation methods can be realized

PAU unit + clean fan unit

An optimal clean environment is achieved

By letting the precision air produced by the PAU unit flow through the HEPA filter, it is possible to supply clean air with a high level of cleanliness. Temperature and humidity control and an optimal clean environment can be achieved as you can select a clean fan unit according to the volume of the target space and the level of the cleanliness.

All fresh

This is effective when there are a lot of gaps in the target space or when a powder or organic solvent is generated.

Internal circulation

Air is sucked in again from the target space to repeat the circulation. A variety of circulation parts is also available.

A: Multi LED display

Operating status can be monitored with a single glance

Operating status is indicated by 5 high luminance LEDs. The operating status of each unit can be verified with a single glance even from a distance. This allows actions to be taken quickly during maintenance and also when an alarm is activated.

Utmost attention is paid to the visibility

quipped with a large 7-segment LED. A 10 mm display pitch is provided to maximize the visibility in remote and dark places. In addition, the status can be checked without having to switch over the display by using a dual temperature and humidity display. The status of the air conditioner is displayed in real time. Diverse self-diagnosis display details required for precision air conditioning are all included.

C: Set button

Operations can be carried out properly even with gloves on

A 12 mm pitch below and above the set button is guaranteed. With a button height of 0.5 mm, operations can be carried out smoothly with a full click sensation even if you are wearing clean gloves etc.

Apiste’s high performance humidification unit that achieves a high level of stability

Equipped with a closed pan type humidification unit

Precise humidity control is possible

Air-cooled and water-cooled precision air conditioners (TCU/ECU) are equipped with a closed pan type humidification unit. Apiste’s humidification units generate uniform and fine water vapor particles, allowing high precision humidity control to be performed.

Closed pan structure

By creating a turbulent air flow inside the pan and letting it pass through the shielding plates, minute water vapor particles can be generated.
Minute water vapor generated by the humidification unit is mixed sufficiently with precision air inside a mixing box before it is discharged.

Open pan structure

Although it is low in cost, water vapor rises from the entire pan, so the water vapor particles on top of the pan tends to be become uneven in size, making it unsuitable for high precision humidity control.

Improved ease of use

Apiste developed a new humidification unit that tracks the humidity linearly by sensing using a humidity sensor to achieve high quality humidity control. The new closed humidification unit has a superior structural design that combines both maintainability and durability in addition to excellent responsivity and stability. In addition, ease of use has been improved dramatically by adding new proprietary functions to the unit e.g. a 2-step control function to prevent condensation and uneven control due to rapid humidification, an auto blow function to deal with scales and so on.

Auto blow function to automatically discharge humidification water that has a high scale concentration

Equipped with an auto discharge function to deal with scales inside the humidification unit. Water with a high scale concentration is discharged outside the unit. Drainage time and interval can be set freely. In addition, water inside the humidifier which needs to be drained away during maintenance can be discharged every 5 seconds by pressing the drain discharge button on the operation panel.

1. Excellent maintainability

The humidification unit can be fully removed from the air conditioner body by pulling and sliding it towards you from the rear of the air conditioner. This allows maintenance, adjustments and parts replacement to be carried out in the field. Besides demonstrating the function in dealing with scales, it also drastically reduces the time and efforts required during maintenance.
