Mist collector technical information 2-4. Electric dust collection mist collector
2-4. Electric dust collection mist collector
In an electric mist collector, the particles are separated from the air stream by electrical force and the oil mist particles are trapped by the dust collecting electrode by charging the particles floating in the air or exhaust gas with ions generated by corona discharge. Although man-hours and costs have to be incurred to maintain the electrodes, the pressure loss is low and fine particles can be trapped at a high efficiency level, so these are used not only for mist collectors, but also for dust collectors, exhaust gas treatment equipment for industrial facilities, and indoor air cleaning equipment etc.
