oil mist particles that are sucked into mist collector and are in a state of motion follow the law of inertia, so they cannot keep up with the rapid changes in direction of the flow and end up colliding with the walls of the flow path, etc.
The method of collecting oil mist that utilizes this law is called the inertial impaction method.
Inertial impact types are broadly divided into the common filter type and the disk type used in Apiste 's GME series.

filter type works by capturing oil mist by colliding it with filter fibers, so regular filter replacement is required.
On the other hand, the disk type used in the GME series uses a collection method in which oil mist is collided with a rapidly rotating disk and scattered away, which reduces maintenance work compared to filter type.
