How much drain water comes out?

The approximate amount of drain water discharged from precision air conditioner (TCU/ECU) can be calculated using the following formula.

Estimated calculation formula for drainage volume
Drainage rate [kg/h] = Air volume [m³/min] x 60 x Absolute humidity difference [kg/kg (DA)] x Air density [1.2 kg (DA)/m³]
*For temperature and humidity control type air conditioners, excess humidification water is drained separately.

The absolute humidity difference is the difference between the absolute humidity of the air intake and the absolute humidity of the air discharged from the air conditioner.

For example, when cooling and dehumidifying air at 27°C and 70% RH to 23°C and 30% RH,
Absolute humidity of air at 27°C and 70% RH: 0.0157 kg/kg (DA)
Absolute humidity of air at 23°C and 30%RH: 0.0052 kg/kg (DA)
Therefore, the absolute humidity difference is 0.0157 kg/kg(DA) - 0.0052 kg/kg(DA) = 0.0105 kg/kg(DA).
