FAQ

What causes chiller failure?

Chillers may malfunction depending on the installation environment and how they are used.
Please use the product in an appropriate environment and manner to avoid malfunction.

■Examples of usage and storage environment that are likely to lead to breakdowns

  • In situations where steam, salt water, oil, etc.
  • Locations with dust, powder, or oil mist
  • Locations where corrosive gases, solvents, or flammable gases are present
  • Where there is radiant heat
  • Locations where the ambient temperature during operation or storage exceeds the specified range
  • Places with sudden temperature changes
  • Locations where strong electromagnetic noise is generated
  • Locations subject to strong vibrations and shocks
  • Where static electricity occurs

etc.

■Examples of usage that can easily lead to breakdowns

  • If foreign matter or other liquids are mixed into circulating water, it may cause insufficient cooling capacity and equipment failure.
  • If any liquid other than that specified is used for circulating water, this product may be damaged, resulting in liquid leakage, electric shock, short circuit, or freezing.
  • The circulating water flow rate will decrease, causing the evaporator to freeze and potentially damaging the equipment. (Note: As a precaution against a significant increase in the circulating water flow rate or a complete drop in the flow rate, it is necessary to install a bypass in the circuit.)
